Spencer Betts joined Bickling Financial Services in 2000. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary™.
Since 2015, Spencer has served as a CFP® Board Ambassador. In this role, Spencer helps the board communicate the importance of financial education and the financial planning process to the public. Spencer is frequently invited to share his perspective on the financial planning process and how it can help individuals reach their financial goals with national media outlets.
An advocate for the profession, Spencer has presented the process of becoming a financial planner to students of Old Dominion University, his alma mater. He has also presented on the CFP® program and how to achieve this designation to Bentley College students.
Spencer earned a B.S. in Physics from Old Dominion University, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificate from the College for Financial Planning, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He holds series 6, 7, 63 and 24 securities registrations and holds an insurance producer license.
Spencer is the past president of Lexington Rotary and a Paul Harris Fellow, a Mason, and an active member of a number of networking and community groups. He lives in Bedford with his wife, Jessica, and two small children, Taylor and Ryan.

I played soccer at Old Dominion University my freshman year. I was only a practice player, but did play Division 1 for a year.
I enjoy doing CrossFit 3 or 4 days per week.
I still try to keep up with my son on my snowboard.
In the summer time I enjoy spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee.
I enjoying cooking on my grill. I will cook anything from steaks and vegetables to pizza.
