With over two decades of experience guiding individuals, families, and business owners through sophisticated wealth management strategies, Spencer Betts brings both knowledge and perspective to his clients. Since joining Bickling Financial Services in 2000, Spencer has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, customized financial planning designed to help preserve and grow wealth across generations.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary™, Spencer is committed to the highest standards of integrity and fiduciary responsibility. His leadership extends beyond the practice: since 2015, he has served as a CFP Board Ambassador, frequently appearing in national media to articulate the value of financial planning and the importance of financial literacy.

Spencer’s dedication to advancing the profession has led him to mentor future advisors, presenting at institutions such as Old Dominion University and Bentley College. His academic foundation — a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Old Dominion University — reflects his analytical approach, while advanced coursework at the College for Financial Planning and fiduciary training at the Center for Fiduciary Studies underscore his technical expertise. He also maintains securities registrations (Series 6, 7, 63, and 24) and an insurance producer license, enabling him to provide comprehensive solutions for complex financial needs.

Deeply engaged in his community, Spencer is a past president of the Lexington Rotary, a Paul Harris Fellow, and an active member of several professional and civic organizations. He resides in Bedford with his wife, Jessica, and their two children, Taylor and Ryan.
